Community exhibition encouraging participation in urban development

FRED. teamed up with Sharpie Markers who provided participants with the tools to draw their visions of the city of Halifax. Participants of all ages and backgrounds were invited to share their creativity and passion for the local community.

I was asked to design the poster for the event. Poster is a mix of photography, hand drawn type, sharpie marker illustrations and vector images. The frames depicted the salon-style-gallery look we wanted to achieve, so we incorporated them into the exhibition. The frames were projected and drawn on the gallery walls and served  as ‘canvases’ for participants.
